SOUTH PARK PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS-PLAYGROUND REMODEL
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday November 13, 2014, for CIP No. 11-537 SOUTH PARK PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS-PLAYGROUND REMODEL which consists of removal of the existing skate rink as well as installation of a two- to five-year-old play area and a six- to twelve-year-old play area, both being accessible for children of all abilities.
All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address. All bids must be sealed and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “CIP No. 11-537 SOUTH PARK PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS-PLAYGROUND REMODEL.”
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received. The award, if made, will be granted to the lowest responsible bidder.

Plans and Specifications may be picked up at the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer beginning Monday, October 27, 2014, by paying a non-refundable fee of $25.00 per set. Plans and specifications can be mailed directly to the contractor if a Federal Express or preferred carrier account number is provided.
City Hall is open M-Th 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
