Pieces of Hermosa history, in the form of colorful panels that adorned lifeguard towers in the “Summer of Color” public art project, will be auctioned off 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 in Room 7 of the Hermosa Beach Community Center, Pier Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.
Proceeds from the lightweight panels, with fish, flower and shape patterns, will benefit the Hermosa Arts Foundation, Hermosa Beach Education Foundation and Portraits of Hope.
Cash and credit cards only will be accepted, and the silent auction will close at 8:30 p.m. sharp, organizers said.
