Photographer Brad Jacobson met the first solid swell of 2016 at Torrance Beach’s Burnout, then moved north to the El Segundo. At Burnout he caught newly emerging South Bay chargers Conor Beatty and Angel Luhrsen. At Hammerland, he caught another new charger Noah Collins, as well as old guard surfers Tyler Hatzikian, Chris Wells, John Gillmore, Matt Mohagen, Matt Pagan and Damien Fahrenfort.
