Love is all you need.
Not necessarily romantic love, although that’s nice too. I feel love for and from my surfboard, love from the ocean, and I love my awesome friends, some of those being Duke and Karen Rennie, who I am honored to know. I don’t think I’ve laughed harder in my entire life than with KP and Duke, and besides getting silly and being able to be complete dorks around one another, the love they share for each other sends shock waves through the world. Today I got to surf with Duke in between volleyball sessions, KP insisting on me wearing some angel wings during my session, maybe thinking it would help me fly a little faster on my board. I might’ve looked like an idiot in the lineup, but I was probably the most giggly idiot, and when Karen Rennie insists that you do something, you sure as shit better do it.
