Michael Binder of Altitude Aviation has for a second straight year given $10,000 to the Hermosa Beach Firefighters Association, presenting the check at last weekend’s Safety First Open House at the station on Pier Avenue.
On the day before Halloween, little sharks, faerie princesses and Spider-men swamped the firehouse, snatching up goodie bags, hugging Sparky the fire dog and playing at crafts with Starfish Hermosa.
