Stolen car in hit-and-run
A car taken from a Hermosa home was recovered by Los Angeles police officers after being involved in a hit-and-run. The car had been parked in the 1100 block of Aviation Boulevard, near Prospect Avenue, when it was taken sometime between 1 and 7 a.m. on the morning of July 19, according to police reports. Hermosa authorities were later contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division, saying they had recovered the car. It was not clear whether the stolen car was the victim or the suspect in the hit-and-run case.
