[scrollGallery id = 297]Lou Giovannetti and his 18-piece big band were joined by thousands of New Year’s Eve celebrants in ringing in 2012 with a joyous “Auld Lang Syne” on Hermosa’s Pier Plaza. Hermosa’s traditional New Year’s Eve big band performance began in 2000, but was suspended over the past few years because of city budget constraints. This year, the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce stepped up with the funds needed to resurrect the tradition.
