An 81-year-old man was sentenced on April 11 to over 27 years in prison for sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl while her family stayed at his Manhattan Beach home for three days in 2014.
A Torrance jury found Robert Dean Lee, a former airline pilot and Navy lieutenant commander, guilty of four counts of lewd acts upon a child, and one count each of oral copulation or sexual penetration with child 10 years old or younger and possession of child or youth pornography on March 2.
“During that stay, Lee repeatedly sexually abused the girl and provided her with sex toys and a book on sexuality, according to evidence presented during the five-day trial,” said the Los Angeles district attorney’s office in a press release.
While investigating, detectives reportedly found more than 20,000 child pornography images on Lee’s computer. ER
