The 51st Annual Palos Verdes Antiques Show and Sale at Saint Francis Episcopal Church. The popular 3-day event features top dealers from Northern and Southern California and Arizona —who will display and sell a dazzling array of 18th, 19th and early 20th Century furniture, silver, prints, jewelry, china, pottery, rugs, Asian antiques, vintage Americana and more. Manhattan Beach Cert (Community Emergency Response Team) Association presents First Aid, CPR/AED training with 2 year certificate. There is no charge to residents and employees of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. Outside of the Beach Cities is $55 each. You must pre-enroll to be assured a seat in class. Start by sending an email to Jeanne: email@example.com with your full name, phone, email and home address. Class starts at 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Limited to 30 participants each class. Manhattan PD, Fire open house
Manhattan Beach Police and Fire Departments Open House 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Showcasing the services and equipment, as well as officers and firefighters who provide public safety and emergency response to our community. Including the SWAT Team, Motor/Traffic Officers, Parking and Animal Control Officers, K-9 Team, Firefighters/Paramedics, as well as volunteers who support Neighborhood Watch, Victim Assistance Team, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Police Explorers and the Police Support Volunteers program. The Fire Bay will be open and there will be guided tours of the jail. Giveaways for the kids and lots of photo opportunities with a fire truck, police motorcycle or SUV with your favorite police officer or firefighter.
