On the afternoon of November 1, Las Candalistas hosted a conversation with four local authors at the PV Golf Club. The authors were Ellen Byron, Amber Susa, Tom and Patty Sullivan and the host was Rebecca Forster. Guests were treated to complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres upon arrival as they viewed silent auction items. An extensive shopping area was available with gourmet jams and foods, Found Treasures, garden shop and Las Candalistas Creations by their own volunteers. Following was lunch alongside fellow readers. The proceeds benefited local charities, including the Boys & Girls Club of LA Harbor, Cancer Support Community South Bay, International Bird Rescue, Manes for Movement, Providence TrinityKids Care and South Coast Botanic Garden.
