The 20th Annual Hermosa Beach Triathlon will draw 700 competitors to downtown Hermosa Beach on Sunday. The race begins at 7 a.m. with a quarter mile swim on the south side of the pier, followed by a 10-mile bike ride up Pier Avenue and looping around Valley and Ardmore drives, before returning to the pier. The final leg is a three mile run along The Strand to the Manhattan Beach border, and back to the pier.
