Landeza & Sons is among the groups performing at the Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival.

The Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival returns over the weekend of Sept. 23-25 to the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, with performances by some of the world’s most popular Island and mainland players. The weekend will also include ukulele workshops for all levels, Hawaiian food, and a marketplace.

The weekend begins with a concert on Friday night, September 23 at 6 p.m. The festival continues on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 9:20 to 6 p.m.; and on Sunday afternoon, September 25 with a play-along concert at 2 p.m.

Friday evening’s concert will feature ukulele virtuosos Andrew Molina, and Brittni Paiva. Paiva has performed with Carlos Santana, and guitarist Tommy Emmanuel. Andrew Molina’s electrifying performances include hits by Aerosmith’s and Guns N’ Roses alongside his own original instrumental compositions.
