Since the revolution of the polyurethane skateboard wheel in the early 70s, ET Surf has been a part of all eras of skateboarding and the shop’s selection follows.
“We have more skateboards than anybody,” shop employee and last year’s South Bay Big Wave Challenge winner, Dan O’Connell said, “We have designs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and now.”
With a knowledgeable staff like O’Connell, Ryan Oliver, and Sonny McCollom, who on this random Wednesday afternoon were very attentive to all sidewalk surfing questions asked by various customers, ET Surf can get you equipped for a 12 foot half-pipe or cruising the strand at sunset. Their staff even includes a skateboard legend that’s been around since the beginning.
“Let’s face it, we have Kevin “the Worm” Anderson,” O’Connell said as he left to help a young lady by waxing her snowboard in the shop’s BOB winning snowboard section.
