NOTICE INVITING BIDS
PROVIDE AND INSTALL ONE SLIDING IRON GATE AT POLICE DEP’T. AND ONE CHAIN LINK SLIDING GATE AT THE CITY YARD
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive sealed bids at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1315 Valley Dr., Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 for:
PROVIDE AND INSTALL ONE SLIDING IRON GATE AT THE POLICE DEP’T. AND ONE SLIDING CHAIN LINK GATE AT THE CITY YARD
All bids must be submitted in writing, on standard forms available in the Public Works Department, at the above address. All bids must be in a sealed envelope and must be plainly marked in the lower left-hand corner “PROVIDE AND INSTALL ONE SLIDING IRON GATE AT THE POLICE DEP’T. AND ONE SLIDING CHAIN LINK GATE AT THE CITY YARD.” For more information please call (310) 318-0214.
A cash deposit, a certified or cashier’s check, or a bidder’s bond, made payable to the City of Hermosa Beach, in an amount not less than 10 percent of the total bid submitted, must accompany each bid.
The contractor shall at the time of award possess a valid State of California Contractors License.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective bids received. The award, if made, will be made to the lowest responsible bidder.
Specifications may be picked up at the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer. City Hall is closed Fridays.
The successful bidder will be required to pay the prevailing wage scale determined by the Department of Industrial Relations, copies of which are on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, (310) 318-0214.
