Buying a used car, especially from a used car lot, can be an intimidating experience. At the JAMA Auto House, partners Jody Lilly and Lars Jacobsson pride themselves on being gentle with their customers.
The two serve as the sole salesmen, typically carrying about 40-50 cars on its lot on PCH in Hermosa Beach.
“We’re not a real hardcore selling type of operation,” Lilly said. “We really sell ourselves and our facility.”
JAMA operates its own on-site service mechanic and a detailing shop. All used car sales at JAMA come with a 6,000-mile warranty. If anything comes up, the dealership can handle it in its own shop, Lilly said.
“It’s a huge benefit for the buyer because they have a safety net,” Lilly said. “Even after the warranty we are here to help them because we have a service center to do so.”
