Super Bowl 10K approaches
The Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10K/5K returns on Sunday, Feb. 2. Organizers expect more than 8,000 runners, walkers and strollers for the races and costume contest, which is marking its 42nd year. Participants in the 10K run (and Baby Buggy run) will head north from Seaside Lagoon, round the Power Plant and plunge south toward Riviera Village before looping back north along the Esplanade. Participants in the 5K Run/Walk will turn back to the finish just after passing Torrance Boulevard. Registration for each race is currently $45 per person. For more information, visit redondo10k.com.
