Second suspect in Redondo Beach bouncer’s death surrenders to police

Rene Anthony Avina, 23, the second suspect wanted for the early morning beating death of Pats II Cocktail bouncer Terie Colecchi, turned himself in to police around 2:40 Wednesday afternoon, Redondo Beach police said in a release.

Avina in cooperation with his attorney, Christopher Glew, voluntarily turned himself in to Redondo Beach Police detectives at Glew’s office in Santa Ana. Avina is currently being held at the Redondo Beach Police  jail on a murder arrest warrant with a million dollars bail. He will appear at the Torrance Courthouse on Thursday.
