For the past 15 seasons, Little Fish Theatre has presented “Pick of the Vine,” a bouquet of short plays chosen from hundreds submitted yearly. Now, over alternating nights through Sept. 2, 14 of these will be revived, seven each evening. From discoteque to convent
“Sister Act,” presented by the Torrance Theatre Company, opens Saturday at 8 p.m. in the James Armstrong Theatre, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance. It’s based on the 1992 film of the same name and focuses on Deloris, who runs from a gangster husband and ends up leading the choir in a convent.
