For the past 15 seasons, Little Fish Theatre has presented “Pick of the Vine,” a bouquet of short plays chosen from hundreds submitted yearly. Now, over alternating nights through Sept. 2, 14 of these will be revived, seven each evening. It’s based on the 1992 film of the same name and focuses on Deloris, who runs from a gangster husband and ends up leading the choir in a convent. If you can start up the Volkswagen and get to Ford Theatres on Saturday night you’ll be able to bask in the pop stylings of Senegalese artist Youssou N’Dour, whose music has reigned supreme for 30 years. You can hear why on “Africa Rekk,” his latest album, which mixes traditional with contemporary sounds. “Be Careful” will get you up and dancing. And the concert should do that and more.
