An alleged robbery and subsequent stabbing occurred on Thursday afternoon inside Cigar and Smoke Shop on the corner of Aviation and Artesia boulevards.
“Someone was hurt pretty good,” said Manhattan Beach Detective Mike Rosenberger, at the scene.
The stabbing victim was an employee at the store, police said. The injuries are not life-threatening.
